No. A device can only be managed by one platform at a time.
Yes. Omada Central supports direct upgrades from an Omada Controller. For the devices that need to migrate from VMS to Omada Central, you need to unbind the devices from VMS and adopt the devices via Omada Central.
No. Omada Central supports all models and versions compatible with the previous Omada Cloud-Based Controller and VIGI VMS. No need to update the hardware or firmware.
Omada Central can manage Omada and VIGI devices. Third-party IP cameras that are ONVIF S compatible can also be managed when connecting to VIGI / Omada NVRs.
The Omada Cloud-Based Controller has been upgraded to Omada Central. Note that Omada Central has two versions — Essentials and Standard — with network management functions identical to Omada Cloud Essentials and Omada Cloud Standard.
